Passports and Immigration

Having difficulty with an immigration application? Need help getting a passport? My staff are here to help you.

Passports and Passport Applications

My office will provide support in completing and submitting Passport Canada applications.

If you are applying for a new adult passport, the MP office is required to send photo copies of your Supporting Identification signed by your Guarantor along with all other documentation that may be required for your application, including your current original birth certificate or Canadian Citizenship Certificate (original must be sent with the application).

Your Guarantor must also sign the back of one photo (please note: photos are valid for 6 months from the date stamped on the back of the photo). Service Canada will verify your Supporting Identification (no signed copies necessary) and birth certificate/citizenship certificate and will return the documents to you after examination.

If you have questions or require further information, please contact my office at 778-591-0549.

New Immigration Applications

There are numerous immigration statuses that you or a family may be eligible for. To see if you or a family member is potential eligible to apply for a new immigration status, visit the Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship eligibility website.

Pending Immigration Applications

One of the commitments of the government is to address the backlogs in immigration application processing, particularly for those seeking family reunification. If you have questions regarding a pending application, need to pay an application fee for an already submitted application, or have to change your return address, please visit the Immigration, Refugee, and Citizenship Canada.

If you have any difficulty finding answers to your questions, or you believe that there is a discrepancy in how your application has been handled, please contact my constituency office immediately and my staff will do their best to help you.

If you have questions or require further information, please contact my office at 778-591-0549.
